Okay, so now that I have your attention...
Seriously though,
I was watching it again just the other day, and I still enjoy it so much as a grown ass man of 44 years old. I first saw it probably when it was on TV when I was 10 years old round a friends house. Although it may be dark for very young kids, I believe it's a film every child should watch over a certain age. Whilst certain things may not have aged well (Gmork puppet and it's twitchy nose) there's such underlying good values that only a certified grump could not like it. Values about reading, standing up for yourself and believing in yourself and never giving up on your dreams etc.
What do you think about this film? Favourite characters or scenes/moments? I love to have a big old chat with you about it.

Well, I am 2 decades older than you, so I watched it as an adult. In fact, it came out the year I moved to the UK. I liked it a lot, espcially because Bastian was connected to the book, and made things happen in that story. I liked all characters except for the Childlike Empress. She was just not a very strong character, and seemed to be whining a lot.
BTW, is it possible to make the font a little larger? I find it very small and my eyes aren't what they used to be.

I think the trouble is she's not in it enough! Only at the end, mind you it was only a half or a quarter of the book they adapted. (I forget which) Hope the font is a bit better, currently increased it to 12, let me know if it's still too small.

Yes, thanks a lot. The font is much easier to read now. Well, I have never read the book, so I can't compare the two.
Also, usually when I have read a book, I don't like to watch the film and vice versa. I always get disappointed with the film if I have read the book first, with very few exceptions.
